About the class:
Join me for this grounding and energizing yoga flow in the greenhouse at Bath Garden Center. Class will begin with a breath awareness meditation, breathing exercise, and then flow like water between various yoga postures connecting our breath with movement. This slow flow class is for beginners with all levels of experience welcomed. We will be honoring the symbiotic relationship between plants and humans. As humans, we breathe in oxygen that plants release, to create energy. Plants absorb the carbon dioxide humans exhale, to create their own energy. Class will end with a guided visualization meditation which will leave you feeling more grounded, energized, and peaceful which is something we can all take with us into the new year. Learn what houseplants purify the air in your home. Flow and grow with me.
About the instructor:
My name is Nicole, and I am a Registered 200 Hour Yoga and Meditation Instructor. I left my nursing career of 11 years and job in the Emergency Department, to share my passion for yoga in a peaceful environment. I believes the source of illness is in deep blockages. It is through a Hatha yoga practice, that we are able to balance our solar (Ha) and lunar (tha) energies allowing it to flow unrestricted within us and be rejuvenated. I enjoy creating vinyasa flows and mindful movements that focus on the breath, meditation, anatomy, body awareness and safety in proper alignment. I want to challenge you to unlock your true potential with a more flexible body, mind, and spirit. I enjoy gardening, my growing plant collection, cooking, analog photography, creating art, traveling and adventuring out in nature. Find me on instagram @plant_yoga growing my plants and my practice.
