At Bath Garden Center, our customers are our primary concern. If you have made a purchase that has proven to be damaged or defective, the product has not met your expectations, or you simply changed your mind about said product, we are happy to take a return or make an exchange. ​

Return Policy​

In-Store Purchases

Any purchases made in-store can be returned to our physical location within 30 days of the original purchase date, with original tags or packaging, and in its original condition. Please also bring your original purchase receipt. If you are a part of our Frequent Gardener Club, no receipt is required, as we will have your order and can look it up in our system.

Online Purchases

Any items purchased online are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. All items must be in new, unused condition and must include all original product packaging in order to be eligible for a full refund to the original method of payment. Returns are able to be processed in-store or by mail. For in-store returns, please bring the item in question and the order number associated with the purchase to Bath Garden Center at 2000 East Prospect Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80525. To return by mail, please send 1) a photo of the item in question, 2) your reason for return, and 3) the order number associated with the purchase to Given all return requirements are met, we will process your return and provide a return label that will be sent to the email address associated with the order. Refunds will be issued when the item is received. Items that appear to be in used condition may be returned for in-store credit only. The original cost of shipping is non-refundable and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount. If you need to exchange an item, please follow the process outlined above to return the original item and place a new order for the item in need. Shipping Policy - Live Plants

Bath Garden Center is committed to delivering healthy, thriving plants to your doorstep. Since plants are living things, special care is required during shipping. This policy outlines our procedures to ensure your plants arrive in excellent condition. We reserve the right to update this shipping policy at any time. General Information

We ship houseplants only within Colorado. At this time, we do not ship plants outside of Colorado. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and size of your order. We use priority shipping options for all plants, but this may not be guaranteed during periods of extreme weather.


Plant Selection and Packing

We carefully select healthy plants for shipment. To minimize stress on the plants, we may prune and remove any dead or damaged foliage before shipping. We package plants using specific materials to ensure they arrive safely. This may include secure boxes to prevent crushing, packing peanuts or other cushioning materials, secure wrapping to keep soil in place, and warming packets (if purchased) to keep your plants warm and cozy during their journey in cold weather.


Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We recommend monitoring your shipment with the tracking number provided and being available to receive the plants upon arrival. Leaving plants outside in extreme temperatures for extended periods can damage them. Even if a heat pack is purchased, leaving plants outside in extreme temperatures for extended periods can cause irreparable damage and may void your plants' warranty. 


Damaged Plants

We take pride in safe plant shipping and do everything in our power to protect this precious cargo while in transit. However, shipping can be hard on a plant, and minimal damage may not be entirely unavoidable. In the rare case that a plant arrives severely damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your shipment and provide photos of the plant and packaging. Photos can be emailed to along with the order number and any other relevant order details. We will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution. 

Houseplant Returns

If you have purchased a plant that does not seem to be adjusting well, please bring the plant in for our plant experts to examine. We would like to be able to diagnose the issue and aid in the rehabilitation of the plant. If efforts are made to save the plant, and it is proven to be unhealthy, damaged, or infested with any sort of bug or parasite, we will replace the plant at no cost. 

Holiday and Clearance 

We do not accept returns of holiday-themed products or holiday decorations. All clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Damaged or Defective Items

If the product you have purchased has proven to be defective, or if the product was damaged upon receipt, we ask that you bring the item and the original purchase receipt into Bath Garden Center in order to receive a refund or make an exchange. For any orders completed online, please follow the process outlined above in the "Online Purchases" section.

Exchanges & Store Credit

If any products attempting to be returned appear to be used or defective due to improper use, a refund may not be able to be issued. However, we are happy to make an exchange for a product of equal or lesser value or will issue store credit for the amount of the item being returned. ​Please follow the above-outlined process for exchanges of orders completed online.
