Summer Solstice Gathering at Bath Garden Center

The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year, a moment when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, and light is at its fullest. This day is honored across cultures as a turning point in the seasonal cycle: a celebration of abundance, vitality, and the peak of life’s outward expression. It is a threshold between growth and reflection, a sacred pause to acknowledge how deeply we are connected to the rhythms of the earth.

We invite you to gather with us at Bath Garden Center for a full day of immersive experiences designed to celebrate this moment!

This gathering is for anyone who feels called to connect with this process of nature, whether you are deeply rooted in spiritual practice or simply curious about living more seasonally and intentionally. The Summer Solstice is a reminder that we are part of a larger intelligence. This day is an invitation to honor your own growth, set intentions for the coming season, and remember yourself as part of the living world.

Throughout the day, the garden and greenhouses will become a living classroom, offering a curated schedule of classes, workshops, and rituals, including solar morning yoga, sound baths, herbalism, mycology and plant wisdom, flower crown making, and creative workshops. Between sessions, guests are welcome to wander the gardens, connect with local vendors and artisans, or receive intuitive readings.

Class Schedule:

9 am Sun Salutation Yoga Class - Vinyasa style yoga class with emphasis on sun salutations to welcome the solstice, including hands-on adjustments and a savasana head massage. This class will be held outdoors in our nursery space. Tickets $25

11 am Summer Foraging Class - Orion Aon from Forage Colorado will be teaching a foraging class where we will walk around the nursery and the surrounding area to identify and discuss edible plants. This workshop style will lean more toward weedy plants and urban trees. Tickets $35

12 pm Mushroom Education Class - Eric Sudhalter from Orion's Apothecary. More information to come! Tickets $40

1 pm Annual Container making with Ria Erikson - This will be a hands-on annual container making workshop. All plants, soil, and supplies are included in the price of this class. Participants will go home with a completed 15" annual pot. Ria has years of experience in custom annual container making, floral arrangements, and design. Tickets $50

2:30 pm Herb Bundle Making Class with Mikki Rawe - A hands-on experience where participants will create their own herbal bundles. Each participant will leave with a handmade herbal bundle, attuned to solstice energies and plants, which can be used for various purposes, including space clearing. Tickets $30

4:00pm Summer Solstice Circle with Alie Rich of Wild Roots Studio - Gather together for shared reflections and guided meditations while we focus on welcoming the solstice. Enjoy an evening of raising your vibration, taking in the laughter & medicine of sisterhood, creating soulful ritual art crafts and strengthening your connection to your natural rhythms by tuning into the universal cycles of the moon, seasons and nature to live with more soulful grace. Tickets $45
