With the recent changes in regulations posted by the CDC, Bath Garden Center and Nursery is no longer requiring fully vaccinated individuals to wear masks while on the property or inside the garden center. According to the CDC, “fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required.” With this being said, we ask anyone who has not yet received a vaccination to still wear a mask. While we will not be asking for proof of vaccination, we do ask that our customers remain responsible and respectful of the revised policies and our community.
According to state and county regulations, fully vaccinated individuals who are two weeks post receiving their final shot have the personal choice to wear a mask or not. We support everyone in doing what is right for you and your comfort level, and ask that everyone, regardless of your position on the matter, remain respectful and support others in their personal choice to either wear or not wear a mask.
At Bath Garden Center, we understand that not everyone may be comfortable or feel prepared for this shift in protective requirements, and we also acknowledge that not every individual has had the chance to receive a vaccination. Due to this, the staff at Bath Garden Center who have not yet received a vaccination will continue to wear face masks during this transition period, and all employees will carry a face mask with them to wear in situations where a customer may not feel comfortable in the absence of a face mask. As things continue to evolve, we will do our very best to keep our customers updated on any anticipated changes in policies and requirements.
We are excited for this forward movement and positive shift in our communities, and we count on all of you coming alongside us in doing what is right and continuing to care for our community by being honest in your vaccination status and respecting the comfort and concerns of others. Thank you for your continued support throughout this difficult time. The light at the end of the tunnel is brighter than ever, and we greatly anticipate coming to the end of this all, united as a community and stronger for the trials we have faced together!
- Bath Garden Center
In light of situations regarding COVID-19, Bath Garden Center would like to take this opportunity to share with you all the steps we are taking to protect our customers and employees during this unprecedented time. Also, we would like to remind you what a wonderful opportunity gardening provides to alleviate stress, practice social distancing, and to maintain a sense of normalcy in these uncertain times.
Bath Garden Center is aware of the concerns related to COVID-19, and we are monitoring the situation daily. We are following the recommendations made by our state and local government here in Colorado, as well as the CDC and WHO. It is important to be aware, not anxious, of the changes we are making at this time. We are not doing this out of fear, but rather to protect at risk populations in our community and to not overwhelm our local healthcare system.
We would like to reiterate that we are still open to healthy customers, but we ask that anyone who is experiencing any symptoms please stay home in order to protect our employees and other patrons. We are happy to provide both curb-side pickup and home delivery services to those customers who wish to remain distanced during this time.
In the store, we are taking the following measures:
Cleaning surfaces such as counters, monitors, phones, keyboards, bathrooms, door handles, etc with a bleach solution regularly throughout the day.
Placing proper hygiene reminders in all customer and employee restrooms.
Encouraging at-risk employees to remain home.
Providing gloves to employees who wish to wear them.
As always, if you have any questions please give us a call at (970) 484-5022. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding!
Face Covering Mandate
Our desire is to keep you safe!
In efforts to help protect the life, health and safety of all individuals on the property, as well as remain compliant with City of Fort Collins mandates, we ask that all customers arrive prepared with a face covering.
A limited supply of masks will be available for purchase in our store, while supplies last. Any individual not wearing a face covering cannot be permitted and will be asked to leave.*
Along with the enforcement of face coverings, we are continuing with other safety precautions such as:
Monitoring the number of customers permitted inside the store.
Regularly sanitizing counters, carts, registers and pens, restrooms, and any other surfaces that experience high traffic.
Encouraging customers to maintain a six-foot distance at all times.
Offering touch-free curbside pick-up.
Offering online order pick-up and delivery services.
Extending our store hours of operation to spread out traffic flow for the safety of our customers.
All of these things are being done to help work towards the community-wide goal of protecting each other and slowing the spread of COVID-19. It is our hope that these efforts will help us return to normal operations as much as possible with the least risk to our community.
THANK YOU for coming along side us. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this unprecedented time.
